Welcome to Marvellous Millinery! If you have a wedding on the horizon, I know you’ll want to feel confident, comfortable, and beautifully put together on one of the most special days of your life. I'll recreate any of my unique luxury wedding hats to your own specifications, as they are available in hundreds of bespoke colour combinations, so I can colour-match your Mother of the Bride or Mother of the Groom outfit perfectly, helping you look amazing and feel fantastic.
Each hat in my Ready-to-Wear collection is a one-of-a-kind design, created by me in my Winchester
studio using the same materials and craftsmanship as my bespoke commissions. Once a design
sells, it is never repeated - so your hat will be genuinely unique.
Ready-to-Wear hats are perfect if your wedding or event is approaching and you need something
beautiful without the bespoke lead time. They are an ideal solution for the Mother of the Bride and
Mother of the Groom, significant wedding guests, or perhaps to attend Ladies’ Day at Royal Ascot,
an investiture or a garden party. Every hat is available for immediate dispatch, beautifully boxed and
sent by tracked courier with postage included.
Every bespoke hat begins with a one-to-one consultation in my Rose Garden Studio in Winchester. I
will guide you through a wide range of shapes - from elegant wide brims and perching pillboxes to
sculptural saucers and delicate fascinators - and together we will select the colours, materials and
trims that complement your outfit perfectly. I offer over 70 bespoke colour combinations, which I can
blend and fine-tune so your hat, dress, shoes and accessories look beautifully coordinated. Most
bespoke commissions take between six and ten weeks from consultation to collection.
You may wish to choose a design from my portfolio as it is, and I will create it for you in all the
colours of your outfit. Or if you prefer, I can combine your favourite elements from different designs
to create something completely individual - just for you.

Hello, I’m Simon, a Millinery Designer in Winchester, Hampshire. I design and handmake elegant occasion hats and fascinators for the Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom, as well as Ladies’ Day at Royal Ascot. When I design a hat, I always think about the whole picture: your dress, your colouring, the wedding setting and how you want to feel on the day. I focus on a flattering shape, for it to be light and comfortable wear, and to feel a secure fit - so you can enjoy every moment of the day with confidence.
